About KBeautyTone

KBeautyTone is a small independent site for people outside Korea who want to buy Korean makeup in colors that suit them.

Personal color analysis is a normal part of shopping for makeup in Korea. Outside Korea, it is hard to apply, because you usually cannot try the shades and most product pages say nothing about which color types a shade suits. This site tries to close that gap.

What you can trust, and what is our opinion

We keep two kinds of information apart.

• Brand labels. When a brand publishes the color types a shade was designed for, we copy those labels exactly and say when we last checked them.
• Our picks. When we say a product line is a good starting point for a season, that is our editorial judgment, based on the shade range and finish. Every line covers more than one season, so check the exact shade before buying.

We do not show prices, stock or shipping times, because they change too often to keep accurate. The retailer page always has the current details.
